About Marc
A true devotion to the craft stems from an intense satisfaction of turning conception into reality. I was very impressionable when first introduced to glass blowing. I believe that glass is magic, a true alchemy in the vein of Newton and Flemmel, using all the elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit) to create something until the moment of its creation.

Since the moment I start blowing a piece of glass, I am connecting with the piece I create. There is an intimate and individual connection with each item that truley transforms it into a symbolic icon of myself. The process of blowing glass and creating allows me to transform that symbolic icon into something different, something deeper.

Marc Leslie Glass was born.

Marc is manifested in his work ethic and in a personal credo "I am thankful for my past because without it I wouldn't be blowing glass. I think about the future and prefer to think more about what I have to offer tomorrow more than what tomorrow has to offer me."
Marc is also a Reiki II Certified Touchless Healer & is currently enrolled in a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training.

I appreciate the years of support Wilmington has offered me. Blowing glass & playing with fire was a dream I had since I was a kid and I never expected it to turn into what it has. I have you to thank, the people and community of Wilmington NC for supporting my dream and this idea. Over the years I have taught over 600 glass blowing classes and over 1000 people how to blow glass. I have attended hundreds of markets & events and even became a small staple myself. I appreciate the love and acceptance you have shown me Wilmington for I was just a lone traveler. I must get back to my travels for this time my heart is pulling me somewhere new.
